Notes from the virtual desk of Günter Obiltschnig
I’ll be giving a talk at this years Embedded Software Engineering Kongress in Sindelfingen, Germany, from December 8 to 10. The title of the talk (in German) is C++ für sicherheitskritische Systeme (C++ for safety-critical systems), and it will be given on December 9 from 9:45-10:30. Hope to see you there!
I am Günter Obiltschnig, a software engineer with 17 years of experience doing software development and architecture. My main interests are distributed systems, embedded systems, web- and middleware technologies, and any combination thereof. Despite occasional adventures in the Brave New World of Java and .NET, I still like to express my thoughts in C++. I live in the southern part of Austria, but I travel the world whenever possible. I am in the lucky position to work for my own company, Applied Informatics, and I am the founder of the POCO C++ Libraries open source project.
